Promise
Keeping you safeFor Wooyoung it all began with some malicious e-mails he received from an unknown user.
Whoever was sending them either loved him or hated him. Their messages were all over the place! From being an overly obsessed fan telling him how cute he was to a complete psycho, threatening or offending him. He recalled when it became bothersome to the point Taecyeon noticed it by accident. He had sighed heavily when he received another notification. Mails suddenly became private messages in all his social media accounts. He became tense almost immediately.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Asked a concerned Taecyeon, who had been sitting beside him. They were working on a photo-shoot together with Chansung. It was awesome to work again with him after many years of concentrating on their own careers.
“It’s nothing, hyung.” He answered, trying to sound nonchalant while hiding, putting away his phone.
“Uh-huh! As if you believe that yourself. C’mon! Tell me what’s been bothering you all day.” Taecyeon nudged him with his elbow. “I could see that notification that popped up before.” He said accusingly.
Wooyoung panicked at that. Did Taecyeon manage to read it? He didn’t think so, but maybe he could confide in his hyung about his concern.
“Just don’t tell Nichkhun about this, please?” He asked, because he knew Taecyeon was Nichkhun’s best friend, and he surely would tell him if he didn't make him promise not to do so.
"I don't know, Woo. Is it that serious?" Taecyeon cared about him too, so it was normal for him to ask before compromising.
"I… No, I don't think so." He confessed, avoiding his gaze.
"Ok, tell me, and I'll see. You know he needs to know if it's really bothering you." The older man offered wisely.
"Fine." Wooyoung agreed. "There's someone… who has been sending me some... messages." He stressed the last word, not wanting to reveal the content of said texts.
"You mean someone's been harassing you?" Taecyeon interpreted his words right, so he nodded in return.
"Do you know him? Her?" He questioned and got a clear no from the younger man.
"Your phone number or just sns?" He continued with the interrogation.
"Hyung!" He protested and sighed softly for the nth time. "What you saw was sns, but they got my personal email. It's nothing serious, though. I'm just tired of it." He answered.
"You know you can block them, right? Mark them as spam? Report them?" Taecyeon suggested.
"I know. I have already done that, but they keep creating new accounts… I don't know what's up with them!" He answered, frustrated, while rubbing his forehead to ease away the tension bubbling under it.
Taecyeon wanted to help, and he knew how things got with these kinds of people, but there's nothing they can do unless it gets more invasive, and he definitely didn't want the younger man to experience what he and Chansung had with people entering their room in the middle of the night. He felt anger building up in his system just thinking about it, about Wooyoung being harassed like that.
He didn't like it at all. He felt over protective of all s and would try to help in any way he could, but it seemed they were stuck at the moment. Maybe Wooyoung was right, and this would stop if Wooyoung kept ignoring and blocking them. They've dealt with that before, and he huffed in return to Wooyoung's sigh.
"Tell me if it gets worse, ok?" He said, reassuring the younger man by squeezing his shoulder softly. He could always trust him to help him out.
"Ok, but you'll keep it between us, right?" Wooyoung asked again, looking more at ease, now that he had someone to share the burden with, but still worried Tae
